Taipei City Parent-Child Sharing Economy Education Association Promotes Shared Mobility and Environmental Education for Rural Children To promote the concepts of the sharing economy and traffic safety education, the Taipei City Parent-Child Sharing Economy Education Association collaborated with the Taipei City Automobile Industry Development Federation to host “2024 Taipei Automotive Learning Through Play” on June 12.Students from Shanghudian Elementary School in Yangmingshan were invited to the BABYDODOFUN Children’s Electric Vehicle Zone at the Yuanshan Children’s Fitness Park to experience the joy of driving shared electric cars firsthand.
The event focused on the principle of “learning through play,” allowing children from rural areas to learn about the automotive industry, traffic safety, and the values of the sharing economy and environmental sustainability through hands-on experience.

By driving the electric cars themselves, the children learned the idea of “use rather than own,” cultivating an attitude of resource conservation and environmental care.
The event also echoed the Taipei City Government’s Net Zero Carbon Emission Policy, integrating environmental education into practical experiences that help children understand the importance of carbon reduction and green energy from an early age—embedding environmental awareness into their everyday lives.
Mr. Chao, Chairman of the Taipei City Parent-Child Sharing Economy Education Association and founder of BABYDODOFUN, stated that the association has long been dedicated to promoting environmental protection, green energy, energy conservation, and sharing economy education.
He emphasized that the goal is not only for urban children to experience electric vehicle learning but also to provide rural children with the same joyful and educational opportunities.

Mr. Chao said, “We hope that through these activities, children can gain wonderful memories and a proper understanding of the importance of green energy and smart sustainability.
Moving forward, the association will invite children from rural schools across Taiwan every season to participate in similar public welfare experiences, planting the seeds of sharing and environmental awareness in their hearts from a young age.”
Through this initiative, the Taipei City Parent-Child Sharing Economy Education Association aims to continue building connections among the public, private, and academic sectors, embedding the sharing economy into both education and daily life, and contributing to the creation of a sustainable city and a greener transportation future.
